For once, we took a lot of pict.s!

Spring Break in Washington DC!

Adam and I took a break from our hectic work/school lives, and took a trip to DC over my spring break. I got a chance to meet LOTS more family on Adams side. What a crazy bunch! We had such fun time. I had never been to DC, so Adam had a fun time showing me all the monuments and sights. The first day we rode public trans downtown. We waked MILES, to all the monuments. The weather was perfect and the cherry blossoms has just started blooming. We bought a hot dog for lunch off a street vendor and ate in the park.

With sore legs, we woke up the next morning and got on the train again. It was rainy, so we spent the entire day doing museums. We went to tons of museums, but there were still more to see! Maybe on our next trip. :) My fav. museum was the Renwick Gallery( Arts and Crafts). We also saw the capital and the white house.

We stayed with Laura, Craig, and their kiddos the first couple of nights. Then we all had a big dinner together and stayed with Brad and Jackie the next couple nights. On the week-end we got to go to the Zoo and the Air and Space Museum. Thank you everyone for having us!

It was a fun-filled trip, and hard to leave! It made it a little easier to come home knowing the kitties were waiting for us. Lucky and Charm always spend hours smelling our suitcases when we get home from trips...Our children are so weird!

Photos-

These are a few photos taken from a series I did of the '67 Mustang. They were taken a manual camera from the 70's and black and white film. I learned the entire photo process from developing film, to printing photos.

Prints-

Mono, Solar, Linoleum, and Zinc prints made in my Printmaking class.

LOOK...a POST!

Look at me, I am actually posting something! Yes, I do need to get better about this...

Since I don't have any cute pictures of babies to post, I will show you some photos of the work I have been doing in my art classes. They are pieces I have done over the last couple of years in my different studio classes. My emphasis is jewelry making and metalsmithing, so hopefully there will be more fun projects to come, using metals. Today Adam and I worked some more on turning the garage into a jewelry/metal studio- very exciting!
